First, let's start with me. Lots of good stories and memories of Nashville last week. Too many to type, sorry. 1 memory is talking to a few flood victims (the "big" flood of 2010). Some people are still not in houses - the water was literally over their houses. I cannot imagine and it makes me appreciate what I have even more. And, yes, I really missed my family. So it is good to be home.
It doesn't look like this any more, thank goodness, but you can see there was quite a bit of flooding.
Sylvia - Went to our good friends, the Dyks, for a 4th of July breakfast party. They decided to have a "super-sized slip and slide" in their back yard. They have a nice hill that goes into a bayou. So, Scott got his hands on some billboard tarps and a hose. Fun fun fun! (Despite getting a HUGE sliver in her foot).
Gracie - Spent last week with mom at the beach in South Haven. Gracie has gone through a ton of bandaids lately - thanks to running around a lot during summer! One of her most recent injuries (finger slammed in bathroom door) actually resulted in her finger nail falling off. Ouch! But she is tough, and is doing ok.
Andrew - turned 2 1/2 yesterday. We measured him on the door and he has grown 3 1/2 inches since he turned 2! Good grief! And he is talking so much and so funny. Fourth of July party at the Dyks' house.
